DetailsCelebrating the return of spring with this tribute to the oak tree, the norse symbol of long life and good luck. Handcrafted of sterling silver, I patterned the background with an oak from my backyard, highlighting the leaf texture. Then I hand cut the small oak leaves with tiny acorns and layered it on top, representing the new leaves sprouting from the fallen winter leaves. The 8mm freshwater pearl hangs as a suspended raindrop in my nod to spring and renewal .Comes on an 18" sterling silver baby bead chain.
