DetailsCelebrate a new year with my New Beginnings birch branch pendant in silver and 18k gold. I made this simple, yet elegant design to honor the old Norse folklore of the birch tree which signifies new beginnings (the old Viking rune of Beorc). I hand formed the 1.5 inch branch shape in a hollow form, engraved it with a birch bark pattern, then added 'dewdrops' in silver and gold to give it a little sparkle. This oxidized silver is hung on a sterling silver 18" chain, in either bright silver or oxidized (blackened) silver. Please specify your choice. This is a great everyday necklace!
