  • Details
Modern chic meet ancient design in my new shield style pendant honoring Freya, the Norse goddess. Revered for protecting home and hearth, the harvest and fertility, Freya was also a strong warrior. In today's hectic world, this amulet can offer strength and courage to modern women (and men, too!).

Each of my shield pendants is entirely handmade, and one-of-a-kind, so slight variations will occur. The main pendant is sterling silver, and my filigree work is traditional Norwegian style, using handmade fine silver spun wires and tiny spheres known as granulation. In Norway, this work is known as "filigran", and I combine ancient design motifs with my modern aesthetic for unique, chic jewelry.

Please note choice of necklace lengths, and also rune symbols that I can add to the back of the necklace. I use the Elder Futhark runes only. Convo me if you wish a rune symbol not listed here.
