DetailsTo celebrate the Norse goddesses, this pendant is in honor of Bil, the goddess of the Waning Moon. From Norse folklore, Bil and her brother Mon followed the moon across the night sky, ensuring the full cycle of the renewal and balance of day and night.
I made this pendant in hollow form, to give some dimension to the waning moon, and added texture to the sterling silver with fused bits of 18k gold - to reflect the lunar surface. My addition of the "arrow" bail is my signature style to represent strong, courageous women. Wear this one-of-a-kind necklace for strength, protection, and a celebration of life.
