Norwegian Thulite and Sterling Silver Necklace with Diamond Clasp

DetailsThis necklace features my favorite Norwegian stone, thulite - the national stone of Norway. I found the raw stone material on a hiking trip in August of 2019, and had it cut,shaped and polished by a gem cutter so I could make this lovely necklace. Thulite comes in a wide range of pinks, and this pale pink is simply lovely. I made the necklace in sterling silver, and handmade the chain links and toggle clasp. The clasp is a focal feature - I added a 3mm diamond on each end of the toggle bar for some extra sparkle.
I made the chain to be 18 inches, with varying size round links for a bit more interest. This is a one-of-a-kind piece. -
