The year is flying by! October is my biggest show at Norsk Hostfest, with 100,000 attendees from all over the world coming to celebrate Scandinavian handmade goods, food from renowned international chefs, music and dance.  This year was exceptional, and my time in my studio creating new designs really paid off.

Up next is the annual Yulefest at the Nordic Heritage Museum in Seattle, WA. Dates: November 18-19, 2017  This great festival will be held for the last time in the old museum building. Next year, we will be hosted in the brand new museum along the waterfront in Ballard.

Then, to cap the year of shows, the first weekend of December is Portland's ScanFair on December 2&3, 2017 - I'll be there for the 8th year, showing off all my latest designs. If you miss these shows, I do my best to post those designs on my website and Etsy shop - with the exception of my one-of-a-kind custom work that sells before I have the chance to show the rest of the world.

My wishes for everyone at this time of year are to enjoy the changing seasons, honor the old year waning, and celebrate a new year approaching.
