If you are like me, you have been stuck in winter hibernation mode for way too long now. Here it is March, which has definitely come in like a lion in the Pacific Northwest. I hear warmer days are soon arriving, though, so cheer up, everyone!

News from the jewelry front: it's been a long, hectic winter for all my classes and gearing up for spring and summer collections. Keep your eye on my website and Etsy shop for new items to be up soon. I'm excited about the new designs I will be launching.

This month I am honored to be a featured presenter at the first ever Creative Metal Arts Guild Business Symposium, which will be a convergence of all the various arts guilds in the Portland area. I'll be speaking about success strategies for marketing handcrafted works to wholesale and retail markets. We will also be doing portfolio reviews for interested artists who are looking for feedback on their current works. You can sign up at www.cmag.org.
