As summer winds down here in the Pacific Northwest, I have been busy creating new jewelry in anticipation of the fall show season. I'm excited to once again participate as an artist vendor at the annual Norsk Hostfest in Minot, North Dakota. The show is from September 24 - 28th. If you are traveling to this amazing show, come see me in the Stockholm Hall at the North Dakota State Fairgrounds. Almost 100,000 people come through - from all over the world! It's a great Scandinavian celebration of food, books, music, dancing, and arts.

Right after the show, fall term starts again at the Multnomah Arts Center. Registration for classes started August 20th, so if you are looking to take one of my metals classes, don't delay!

I'm also teaching monthly at Nordic Northwest - Nordia House in Portland sponsors my workshops in metals related to Scandinavia. September's class is the traditional Sami style reindeer leather and coiled wire embroidery bracelets. October's class will be Silver Stacking Rings - come learn some basic torch soldering skills! Check out registration at www.nordicnorthwest.org.

Hope to see you soon at a show or class near you!
