DetailsMore silver filigree in the traditions of Norway! I have used a 'rosette' motif exclusively in this pendant, with some granulation - for a completely modern interpretation of the classic jewelry historically made and worn with the bunad - the folk costumes in Norway. I made each element, and soldered them painstakingly into place on the sterling silver background metal, framed it in sterling silver, and suspended the pendant on an 18 inch sterling silver bead chain. The pendant is an inch in diameter.
This is a new classic, meant to be worn with anything in your wardrobe. No bunads required! -
